Ultrasound cases are provided by selected emergency ultrasound directors of the various emergency medicine residency programs affiliated with the Air Force, Army and Navy. These cases are designed to illustrate interesting and novel uses of emergency ultrasound within the purview of emergency physicians. These include cases unique to the deployed environment as well as those seen in any typical emergency department. These cases will highlight unusual findings as well as key normal and pathologic findings on core exams. The author of the case is solely responsible for the content of each respective case submitted.
